ArtVenture is transforming empty shop front windows into vibrant art exhibition spaces to revitalise Lismore city.

About the Program

The aim is to repurpose vacant shop fronts in Lismore, extending the exhibition space for Lismore Regional Gallery's permanent collection. The program launched in November 2023, adding beauty, colour and history to the city.

The program is expected to increase foot traffic, promote local artists and the Lismore Regional Gallery, attract new business owners, enhance the city's cultural vibrancy and bring economic benefits.

The name 'ArtVenture' captures the spirit of exploration and discovery, inviting visitors to uncover hidden treasures of art in unexpected places.

ArtVenture is an opportunity to celebrate the vibrancy and cultural richness of the community and stimulate economic development in the region.
