As part of Lismore City Council’s commitment to reinvigorating tourism and rebuilding our visitor economy, Lismore City Council in consultation with the broader community, is developing a Destination Management and Visitor Economy Strategy.

What is the aim of the Strategy?

The aim of the Strategy is to identify the visitors to attract, increase their length of stay and visitor spend as well as achieve greater dispersal of visitors across Lismore, Nimbin and Villages.

The Strategy will also identify priorities for developing our tourism assets and attractions.

Tourism Strategy Workshops

Business owners and tourism industry operators are invited to be part of the Destination Management Strategy being developed by Lismore City Council to build the visitor economy.

The workshop will delve into enhancing the visitor experience, increasing visitor length-of-stay and spend, as well as achieving greater dispersal of visitors across Lismore, Nimbin and Villages
