Lismore City Council Destination and Economy Team, in partnership with the Nimbin Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce a series of 3 free digital business development workshops in Nimbin. The aim of the workshops is to educate business owners on digital strategies to increase web traffic and sales, and provide skills to develop and implement effective Instagram practice.
Workshop #1: Digital Presence and Social Media
This workshop provides attendees with an introduction to digital presence, and why it matters. You will explore different social media platforms available and be provided with an overview of how to choose which one is best suited to your business’ needs. The workshop includes tips on marketing, branding, and search engine optimisation techniques. Facilitated by Rachel Turner from the Workforce Australia Entrepreneurship Facilitator Program.

In this workshop learn the basics of setting up your Instagram business account, creating posts and understanding the difference between posts, stories and reels. You will learn how to tag other accounts, the power of hashtags, and the importance of interacting via comments and direct messages. Facilitated by Designer and Digital Strategist Jess Heppell.
