Ridgewood Bridge - Mackie Road (Sunday Works) - December 2023

Council wishes to provide an update on works to Ridgewood Bridge which commenced on Wednesday, 1 November 2023 and will continue into the middle of 2024, subject to fine weather conditions and contractor availability.

What’s the latest news?

This notice is to inform residents of scheduled works this coming Sunday, 10 December and the following Sunday, 17 December 2023 between 8am and 3pm, which will allow critical work to be completed prior to the Christmas shutdown period and possible wet weather. The works will comprise excavation, placement of formwork and steel reinforcement for the pile cap. Noise levels will be minimised.

What do I need to do?

Traffic arrangements for the bridge will remain unchanged. However, please commute through the worksite at low speed, obey adjusted speed limits and directions from any traffic controllers, and drive carefully. We would appreciate your cooperation with all traffic control and workplace protection measures to help keep everyone safe.
