CBD Clean up

CBD clean-up will start tomorrow morning.

It is important that this is done correctly to ensure the CBD is cleared safely and quickly once the SES gives the All Clear to return.

The Australian Defence Force are now deploying troops in the CBD to assist with the clean-up.

We are asking CBD businesses to contact Council to organise priority skip bin delivery. This is to ensure access to footpaths and streets remain open for vehicle access and waste trucks.

Please be aware that there are limited numbers of skips available and skips will be prioritised to the greatest need.
