Clean-up refreshments were offered earlier

Earlier today at The Stockpot Kitchen in the Lismore CBD, Lismore City Council in coordination with The Stockpot Kitchen provided food and water to members of the community who were cleaning up.

Council has received donations of food and water from many local farmers, community organisations, private business, charities and many more that has allowed us to distribute food to help people who are cleaning up their properties.

Volunteers from the GSAC Evacuation Centre and the Stockpot Kitchen handed out pre-packaged food, sausages, sandwiches, snacks, and bottled water to many hungry and exhausted workers.

Council wishes to thank everyone who has donated food so far and everyone who has volunteered.
