Skip bins for flood waste disposal

Skip bins are at two locations to assist residents and businesses with the flood clean up.

The skip bins can be used for non-putrescible household waste only. That means no food, nappies or sanitary items. It is important not to put putrescible items in the bins as they may not be collected immediately.

Only small to medium items should be put into the skip bins.

Council will arrange to collect larger items over the next few days.

Skip bins are located at:

- Netball Courts on Diadem St, Lismore

- 38 Union Street, South Lismore in the temporary car park area on Northern side

Use of the skips mean we can clear a space around properties so that a secondary and more thorough clean up can occur.

Please place larger items at the front of properties in a safe location that can be later collected.
