March 2021 - Artists wanted now!

The Back Alley Gallery team has been engaged to manage delivery of the artistic elements of the Lismore Laneways Project.

They have now released an EOI (Expression of Interest) for artists to get involved with applications open until 11 March 2021.

They are seeking submissions from creatives/enablers/practitioners/designers/artists to be considered in a competitive process that will commission new street art and design works, wayfinding, 3D public artworks and creative interactive elements for the heart of the Lismore CBD. Northern Rivers First Nations applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

This is a really exciting opportunity for local artists to get involved and create artwork in the centre of our city to help transform our laneways. For full details of the EOI, please visit www.thebackalleygallery.com(External link).

We also have two exciting community projects that will help activate and beautify the Lismore Laneways along with the permanent improvements such as lighting and seating. You can read more about these here.

For more information or to express your interest in helping to activate and beautify our city laneways, please phone Project Officer Stephanie Pym on 1300 87 83 87 or email stephanie.pym@lismore.nsw.gov.au.
