Plan of Management for Lismore Park

At its ordinary meeting on 12 May 2020, Lismore City Council adopted a new draft Plan of Management for Lismore Park.
A Plan of Management is a requirement of the Local Government Act 1993 and governs the future use and development of Council-owned ‘community’ land.
Lismore Park includes a range of sporting and recreational facilities and is an important part of the city’s amenity and landscape.
This draft Plan of Management incorporates the Lismore Parklands Master Plan which envisages a regionally significant destination park in the heart of Lismore.
In accordance with Section 40A of the Local Government Act, a public hearing will be held on Thursday, 2 July at 6pm in regards to the proposed changes to categorisation of land in the draft Lismore Park Plan of Management. Due to COVID-19 restrictions on public gatherings, the public hearing will take place via a Zoom meeting.

- Hard copies of the draft Plan of Management will not be freely available to the community due to requirements under the NSW Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order 2020.

The draft Plan of Management is on public exhibition from 1 June to 8 July 2020.
