Lismore City Council is partnering with the Nimbin and Lismore Chambers of Commerce to deliver Small Business Month events. Both Chambers were successful in obtaining the NSW Government grant of $3,500 to deliver events on the theme of ‘My Small Business Brand’. Nimbin Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a full day of workshops, with the Lismore Chamber of Commerce hosting a morning event. Topics covered will include branding and marketing, and how to use Artificial Intelligence for content creation.

The Nimbin Chamber will engage Kylie Mowbray-Allen from Hello Media, a business coach specialising in digital marketing who brings with her a lifetime of experience in media, advertising, marketing, ecommerce, and branding. Under her guidance participants will learn to understand their brand better, how to utilise AI tools for super-fast content generation, strategies to simplify social media activities, and alternative methods for optimising social media management.

The Lismore Chamber of Commerce will engage Ryan McCann from Lion & Lamb design agency to deliver a workshop on branding for the modern business landscape. Participants will gain understanding of how branding can be a powerful tool to convey a business values, messaging and storytelling to create a strong emotional connection with customers who share those values, leading to brand loyalty and long-term success.
