On Public Exhibition - Amendment to Fees and Charges at Lismore Regional Airport

On 16 February 2022, Council resolved to progress fee changes through consultation with the community to amend the current Fees and Charges at Lismore Regional Airport (LRA). Council’s resolution seeks to reinstate the inclusion of an annualised landing fee, as previously included in the Fees and Charges of Financial Year (FY) 20/21, with the current fee structure to remain for weekend/recreational pilots.

Annualised landing fees are an annual fee subscription option that aircraft operators (commercial or Private) can enter via written request to Council’s General Manager; allowing a flat fee per aircraft per year (or on a pro rata basis) regardless of landing and/or touch and go events.

Changes to fees and charges must be advertised to comply with the Local Government Act 1993 prior to Council adopting any revised fee or charge, and in line with Council’s resolution, it is proposed that a pay-as-you-use option will remain unchanged.

Unlimited Landing Fee

Subject to approval of the General Manager, aircraft operators can apply for a prepaid unlimited movement fee per annum.
