Lismore Council is exhibiting a new draft Contributions Plan that, in accordance with Section 7.11 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979, sets out the requirements for the payment of monetary contributions from new developments that increase the demand for public amenities and services.

It covers all land within the Lismore LGA other than the North Lismore Plateau which is covered under its own contributions plan. The draft plan considers development and population projections to 2041 and has identified a range of infrastructure projects in the following categories:

  • Community Facilities
  • Public Domain Facilities
  • Open Space and Recreation
  • Walking and Cycling
  • Traffic Management
  • Stormwater Management

All submissions, will become publicly available documents and will be made available on Council’s website, in accordance with the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009. Contact details including phone and email addresses will be redacted in these reports.

Submissions close at 5pm on 26 April 2024.
