June 2023 Update

The Pineapple Road Precinct is an area zoned for residential development and is located to the north-east of the city of Lismore. To service future development, Council is required to investigate, design, and construct critical wastewater (sewer) infrastructure.

The project is being funded by Council’s Wastewater Fund, and includes:

• A new sewage pump station to be located immediately north of the urban precinct.
• A pumped sewer pipeline connecting the new pump station to Council's existing gravity truck sewer main at Northcott Drive.

Leonne Constructions have been appointed as the contractor completing the Pineapple Road Sewerage Scheme. Preliminary works have started on the project including surveys and ecological studies.

Main works are due to commence in June and be completed early 2024. Residents during this time may notice increased traffic and construction noise.
