Planning Proposal

A Planning Proposal application has been lodged with Lismore City Council for land at 92 Dunoon Road, North Lismore (Lot 11, DP 1096690).

The objective of the proposal is to amend Schedule 1 of the Lismore Local Environment Plan 2012 (LEP) to allow an additional permitted use, being the subdivision of land to create two lots that are below minimum lot size at 92 Dunoon Road, North Lismore (Lot 11, DP 1096690). This will allow the existing goods transport terminal and associated manager’s residence to be located on a separate lot from the remainder of the farm, which includes a dwelling and ancillary farm buildings.

The planning proposal is consistent with the North Coast Regional Plan and the relevant State Environmental Planning Policies. The proposal is also consistent with the relevant section 9.1 Ministerial Directions.

The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure have determined that Council may exercise local plan-making authority functions in relation to this proposal.
