Lismore City Council wishes to inform the community of a proposed change to the minimum lot size of 1443 Bangalow Road, Clunes.

The intended outcome of the Planning Proposal is to enable a dwelling entitlement on the site by a change to the minimum lot size. The approval of the Planning Proposal to modify the relevant lot size map for the subject site would allow Council to assess and determine a development application for a dwelling or dual occupancy and the existing use rights (vehicle body repair shop) would be surrendered.

The objective of the proposal will be achieved by amending the Lot Size Map (LSZ_005) to allow for a new Minimum Lot Size of 1.5 hectares (Y2) at 1443 Bangalow Road, Clunes (Lot 1 DP 832781). No change to the written instrument is required or proposed.

The Minister for Planning has delegated the making of this LEP to Lismore City Council under section 3.36(2) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

The planning proposal to amend LEP 2012 is publicly exhibited from Monday 21 November until Monday 19 December 2022. Submissions must be received by Council by close of business on 19 December.
