PUBLIC NOTICE - NOTIFICATION OF NEW ROAD NAME

Section 162 of the Roads Act 1993 and Part 2 of the Roads Regulation 2018 - Ref: CDR21/1679

Notice is hereby given on 15 March 2022 that Lismore City Council as roads authority has named the following road:

Proposed Name: JASPER CLOSE
Proposal Type: Public Road
Local Government Area: LISMORE
Locality(suburb): NIMBIN
Description: This new road will be created within the subdivision of Lot 39 DP 1253871, also known as 49 Alternative Way, Nimbin. The road is a cul-de-sac that extends south-east approximately 60 metres from Hillside Drive.

Name Origin: Jasper is a semi- precious gemstone commonly found in many creeks within the area and throughout the northern rivers.
