Consultation has concluded

Lismore City Council wishes to inform the community of proposed residential rezoning of part 389 Keen Street, East Lismore.

The objective of the rezoning planning proposal is to enable the future subdivision of the land to potentially create 30 residential allotments. This proposal is achieved as follows:

  • Change the land use zone of part 389 Keen Street, East Lismore from RU1 Primary Production to R1 General Residential; and
  • Apply a minimum lot size of 400m2 for Zone R1; and
  • Apply a maximum building height of 8.5m for Zone R1.

The Minister for Planning and Homes has delegated the making of this LEP to Lismore City Council under section 3.34 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. This means Council will complete the final stages of the rezoning.

The planning proposal to amend LEP 2012 is publicly exhibited from 22 August 2022 to 20 September 2022. Submissions must be received by Council by close of business on 20 September.
