16 October: Major work now complete

Lismore City Council is pleased to advise residents that major work on the $8.2 million South Lismore Flood Mitigation Works Project is now complete.

We would like to thank residents for your patience while works on this project took place. There is still some minor clean-up works, weed control, fencing and bush regeneration to undertake, but impacts to residents will be minimal.

We are pleased to report that the South Lismore Flood Mitigation Works Project was completed on time and on budget and we would like to thank NSW Public Works Advisory for their project management support to deliver this project.

This project is an important flood mitigation measure for Lismore and facilitates the ongoing growth and development of the South Lismore Industrial Estate as a hub for business and industry.
