6 December 2019: Progress update

Council contractors are ahead of schedule on the South Lismore Flood Mitigation Project. Work is scheduled to be complete by October 2020 but we are hopeful of an even better result!

SEE Civil, the contractors undertaking the current bulk earthworks, will stop work from Friday, 20 December 2019 and resume work on Monday, 6 January 2020. We wish you all a safe, happy and peaceful festive season!

The temporary closure of Caniaba Street between Three Chain Road and Casino Street will remain in place over the Christmas/New Year break and until the 12-week temporary closure period concludes in early February.
