Consultation has concluded

Roadworks to repair a section of Wilson Street, South Lismore, will begin on 2 March 2020.

The works include reconstructing approximately 350m of Wilson Street from Casino Street to the approach of Robert White Bridge.

Daily work hours will mostly be between 7am and 4pm weekdays, although there may be some weekend work.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane during the works. Traffic control may include mobile traffic lights and a traffic control operator during working hours. Council will aim to reopen the road at the end of each working day, however, this may be impracticable during some stages of the work. When the road is one lane after hours, mobile traffic lights will be in place.

We will continue to provide community updates to local residents throughout the works.

Works are expected to take approximately seven to nine weeks, depending on weather.
