Consultation has concluded
Council resolved at its ordinary meeting on 9 April 2019 to place its draft Code of Meeting Practice on exhibition for 42 days for public comment.
The draft amendments include mandatory changes set down by the Office of Local Government as well as optional clauses that have been agreed upon by Lismore City Council.
Changes to the draft Code of Meeting Practice relate to a variety of issues including public access and briefing sessions, webcasting of meetings, advertising Council agendas, voting and motions.
The draft Code of Meeting Practice is on public exhibition from 12 April to 25 May 2019.
The draft amendments can be viewed online in our Document Library to your right or in hardcopy at our Corporate Centre, 43 Oliver Avenue, Goonellabah.
Submissions can be made online below, emailed to council@lismore.nsw.gov.au or sent to the General Manager, Lismore City Council, PO Box 23A, Lismore, NSW 2480.
