Describes the framework that is used by NSW Councils to plan services and projects within the community

The Integrated Planning & Reporting framework guides how NSW councils plan services and projects within the community.

To view this framework click here.

In simple terms, every four years we ask our community what they want for the future then we develop projects to meet these objectives and budgets to fund them. The NSW Government requires all NSW councils to do this.

Every four years, we review our Community Strategic Plan (10 years) and develop a new Delivery Program (4 years) and Operational Plan (1 year).

All relevant documents can be found in the document library on the right hand side of this page.

These documents are accompanied by a Resourcing Strategy (10 years) that is made up of a Long Term Financial Plan, Asset Management Strategy and Workforce Management Plan.

While this is a legislative requirement for all councils, it is also a system of planning that makes sense.

We produce a quarterly Delivery Program Progress Report and an Annual Report to track progress and achievements in implementing the Delivery Program.
