Consultation has concluded

Council has agreed in principle to write off $2,329 in ground hire fees requested by Marist Brothers (Lismore Old Boys Rugby League Football Club Incorporated).

Marist Brothers (Club) requested that Council consider reducing or waiving their outstanding ground hire fees for Crozier Field and Oakes Oval totalling $4,422.36.

The Club advise they suffered financial stress during 2017 as a result of the March 2017 flood and its ongoing impact on facilities at Crozier Field with the canteen not usable and the electronic scoreboard not available for sponsorship advertising.

The Club stated that numerous hours of voluntary work has been put in by club members in cleaning the ground and facilities at Crozier Field after the flood, and their cash and in-kind contribution to the development of Crozier Field over time be taken into consideration.

Submissions can be made online, emailed to council@lismore.nsw.gov.au or sent to the General Manager, Lismore City Council, PO Box 23A, Lismore, NSW 2480.

Submissions must be received by 26 April 2018. For more information, phone Rino Santin on 1300 87 83 87.
