Draft Voluntary Planning Agreements – North Lismore Plateau (Winten)

Environment Planning and Assessment Act 1979

Notice is given that draft Planning Agreements have been lodged with Lismore City Council in relation to Development Application 2017/270 to develop part of the land on the North Lismore Plateau.

Description of land and related development:

The land subject of the planning agreements under DA17/270 is Lot 2 DP 1214953, 8 Sexton Road, North Lismore, and Lot 3 DP 808657, 55 Dunoon Road, North Lismore. The proposal seeks development consent for the subdivision of land to create a total of 433 residential allotments, a commercial allotment, open space and areas for environmental management. The proposed development will be undertaken as follows:

Precinct 1 – Total of 95 residential allotments, local centre allotment, open space and provision for environmental management;

Precinct 2 – Total of 295 residential allotments, open space and areas for environmental management;

Precinct 3 – Staged development consent sought in accordance with Section 83B of the EP&A Act for the creation of 43 residential allotments. Concept approval is sought for Precinct 3 and this area will be subject of a further development application.

Draft voluntary planning agreements:

  • Provision of Water and Wastewater Infrastructure for North Lismore Plateau.
  • Biodiversity Certification relating to Precinct 3 proposed subdivision.

Exhibition and submissions:

Pursuant to clause 25D of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000, the above draft Planning Agreements and the accompanying explanatory notes are on public exhibition from 28 February 2018 to 28 March 2018.

Documents can be viewed online in our Document Library or in hardcopy at our Corporate Centre, 43 Oliver Avenue, Goonellabah.

Submissions can be made online, emailed to council@lismore.nsw.gov.au or sent to the General Manager, Lismore City Council, PO Box 23A, Lismore, NSW 2480.

Submissions must be received by 28 March 2018. For more information, phone 1300 87 83 87.

Further information relating to written submissions is available on Council’s website. There are laws regarding the mandatory disclosure of political donations in relation to planning matters. Political donations disclosure reporting forms are available from the Department of Planning website at www.planning.nsw.gov.au.
