Brunswick Street Depot - Old Helicopter Building
Construction set to commence shortly, with estimated completion date of January 2024.
Caniaba Street Reserve Soccer Clubhouse (South Lismore Celtics)
Onsite meeting with South Lismore Celtics representatives, to inform the design of the future rebuild suited to needs of the club.
Crozier and Oakes Oval Amenities (Dawson Street and Magellan Street Toilets)
The roof structure on both the Dawson and Magellan Street blocks commenced in September. Scyon flooring sheeting was laid and the plumbing rough-in completed. The structural steel roof framing to three buildings is now complete and the new Colorbond roof sheeting installed. Translucent roof sheeting was added to increase natural lighting within the building. Painting commenced at the Dawson Street block.
Perimeter scaffolding will be removed shortly.
Elaine Blanch Tennis Courts (Lismore Tennis Courts)
The existing training wall was demolished this month, requiring a rebuild due to extensive damage to the brickwork. By the end of the month, blockwork for the new wall was complete.
Preliminary drainage works were also started and by mid-month, drainage was completed for the ground floor wet areas. Prep-work for the ground floor slab reinstatement has also commenced. Service rough-ins for security, electrical and plumbing are now complete.
Lismore Airport Terminal
Construction on the Terminal building set to commence shortly, with estimated completion date of January 2024.
Lismore Library
Onsite meeting with Library stakeholders to inform the design of future rebuild. Decisions on colour and fit out materials are now being made.
Additionally, the Library received funding to continue offering pop-up spaces.
Lismore Memorial Baths
It was busy at the Baths in September. The last of the shade sails on the pool deck were pressure cleaned.
All redundant solar tube systems and heat pumps were removed from the Amenities Block, lifeguard tower and the pump room roof in preparation for the new roof installation. Old roof and insulation was removed from the Amenities Block, before the new roof and insulation is installed.
The Canteen fitout is underway, with a new grease arrest and hydraulic pipework installed. Plumbing, gas and electrical rough-ins has also commenced in all buildings. Work is also underway in the Amenities room including fixtures and plumbing rough-in of showers.
The Baths also hosted the Mates in Construction Fly The Flag Breaky BBQ, which was a great success!
The Pavilion was rendered and painting will continue through October.
Laurie Allan Centre
Onsite meeting with the Far North Coast Canoe Club representatives, to discuss future plans for the building, and their immediate needs in relation to the space.
Lismore Municipal Building
Onsite meeting with Richmond River Historical Society representatives, to inform the design of the future rebuild suited to needs of the user group.
Lismore Regional Gallery
Review of scope and grant funding with Project Team. Restoration for The Quad will now be completed in conjunction with Gallery works.
Mortimer Oval Amenities
In early September the roof structure was started with roof post footings being poured, roof sheeting and flashing installed. The roof structure was finished just in time for month end. Flooring was laid and power restored to the entire building. Resilient finishes were ordered and awaiting delivery.
Marie Mackney Netball Courts (Lismore Netball)
Drainage works, termite treatments and ground prep for the slab reinstatement had commenced and the Scyon flooring installed to the first floor.
The external soffit was also completed and by the end of the month the service rough-ins underway and the internal wall framing complete.
The goal was to have the clubhouse ready for September. However a number of challenges were faced and now aiming for completion at the end of October.
Radio Controlled Car Building - Nesbitt Park
Construction set to commence shortly, with estimated completion date of January 2024.
Riverview Park
Discus nets have been completed. Construction on clubhouse set to commence shortly, with estimated completion date of January 2024.
Visitor Information Centre building
Construction set to commence shortly, with estimated completion date of January 2024.

Crozier/Oakes Oval: The site fencing from Dawson Street to Magellan Street blocks is up. Showcasing that works are commencing with managing contractor Bennett Constructions.
Dawson Street Toilet Block: The roof structure has commenced. The temporary toilet blocks have been delivered and ready for use, near the Dawson Street block.
Elaine Blanch Tennis Courts Clubhouse: Demolition works were completed in the Tennis Club including slab and internal wall removal. Demolition is underway on the training wall. Preliminary works for drainage have been completed, with exploratory dig and camera survey of the sewer lines to ensure the new drainage is configured correctly.
Lismore Memorial Baths: Another step forward for the Lismore Memorial Baths, as the old solar heating tubes were removed from the facilities roof.A crane delicately removed these damaged tubes, making way for the upcoming roof replacement set to take place over the coming weeks.Lismore Basketball Association: Onsite meeting with stakeholders to discuss choice of flooring, and future works.
Marie Mackney Netball Clubhouse: Preliminary works for drainage works. Exploratory dig and camera survey of the sewer lines to make sure we are connecting the new drainage correctly. Drainage to the Ground Floor wet areas has been completed awaiting council inspection. The Level 1 ply flooring is being removed and progressively being replaced with Scyon flooring. And structural repairs to the framing are underway.
Mortimer Oval Container Building: Roof post footings have been poured, and scaffolding has been erected to commence the roof structure.

Albert Park
The clubhouse repairs are being finalised, with the batter practice building erected by next week. Restoration works will be nearing completion for Albert Park in the first week of July. These works have generated interest from local, State, Australian and international baseball associations.

With the announcement of Masters Games in September, the Crozier Oval toilet blocks have been highlighted as a priority to be completed. The repair and estimated scoping is being finalised, while discussions continue with various state government bodies to ensure the works are carried out as soon as possible.

Memorial Baths
Planning is underway to restore the Memorial Baths ready for Summer. While there are still challenges to reach this goal, early dewatering of the pool to enable hydraulic investigations has commenced. In addition, orders for long lead time mechanical equipment have been placed.
