Validation report identified further areas of detailed cleaning required within the clubhouse which is being actioned to obtain certificate of validation. Batting cage replacement is currently being quoted.
Arthur Park Archery Club – Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset Works approval.
Brunswick Street Depot – Sign shop, Fab shop and Workshop are operational. Temporary offices are in place until restoration works are complete. Contractor has been engaged for demountable office restoration. Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset Works approval.
Caniaba Street Reserve - Soccer Clubhouse – Hygienist certificate of validation received. Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset approval.
Clyde Campbell Carpark – Patching across the carpark has been completed. A scope of works and estimation of costs for severely damaged area behind Mary G’s has been submitted to Public Works Advisory for approval.
Croquet Club, Spinks Park - Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset Works approval.
CWA Building, Spinks Park – Decontamination works continuing – planned to be completed Mid-November. Repairs to damaged heritage tile roof are scheduled. A scope of works is developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset Works approval.
Family Support Network (Old Scout Hall – 41 Wilston St, South Lismore) – Structural assessment complete. Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset approval.
Harold Fredricks Carpark Lights – Replacement solar lights for this carpark have been procured. Awaiting arrival for installation.
Humbley Oval Hockey Club Kiosk – Site isolated via temporary fencing. Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset Works approval.
John Crowther Carpark – After being utilised as a temporary waste transfer station this carpark has now had resurfacing works and is available again for public use.
Laurie Allen Centre – Geotechnical Drilling contractor engaged to get samples to assist in the structural assessment of this building.
Lismore Airport Terminal - Hygienist certificate of validation received. Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset Works approval.
Lismore Basketball Association – Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset Works approval.
Lismore Centra Tourist Park – Park is operational. Final restoration works on new office building is being complete.
Lismore Cattle Sale Yards – Replacement sales office designed and Development Application submitted. Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset Works approval.
Lismore City Hall - Hygienist validation sampling complete, awaiting results of reporting for certificate of validation. Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset Works approval.
Lismore Library - Hygienist validation sampling complete, awaiting results of reporting for certificate of validation. Structural Drying still on-going to maintain moisture levels. Lismore Memorial Baths – Aquatic Engineer site visit complete and awaiting on final report on water treatment system. Scope of works developed and estimation of costs of restoration works has been developed. Following outcome of Aquatic engineers assessment of water treatment system a submission for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset works required will be submitted to Public Works Advisory for approval.
Lismore Park Elaine Blanche Tennis Courts (Lismore Tennis Courts) Clubhouse – Hygienist validation sampling complete, awaiting results of reporting. Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset approval.
Lismore Regional Gallery - Hygienist validation sampling complete, awaiting results of reporting for certificate of validation and/or detailed areas of cleaning required. Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset Works approval.
Lismore SES Headquarters – Council has been working closely with SES to minimise any disruption during the replacement of floor coverings that were inundated in the February 2022 flood. This work is ongoing and is scheduled to be finished by end of November.
Lismore Transit Centre – The Transit Centre re-opened to the public on Monday 17/10/22 as a Recovery Centre and Assistance point. Minor restoration works continue throughout November as materials/supplies become available.
Marie Mackney Netball Clubhouse (Lismore Netball Courts) – Hazardous building materials have been removed. Structural drying is ongoing. Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset Works approval.
Mortimer Oval (Brick Building) - Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset Works approval.
Mortimer Oval (Container Building) – Tender for the replacement of the roof structure has closed with successful tenderer selected. Scope of works developed for remaining works and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset approval.
Municipal Building - Hygienist validation sampling complete, awaiting results of reporting for certificate of validation and/or detailed areas of cleaning required. Richmond River Historical Society contents safely relocated to a flood free location whilst restoration works on the municipal building are complete.
