    Heritage ParkElectrical restoration throughout the park is ongoing as required parts become available. Strip out and clean of Heritage park train station office and other buildings is underway.

    Nesbitt ParkSoftfall bark replacement is ongoing, replacement netting surround cricket wickets has been procured. Mountain bike track re-surfacing complete.

    Spinks Park & Riverside Park - Quotations received for the restoration of lighting along the levee wall and throughout Riverside Park. Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset works approval.

    The Quad PrecinctQuotations received for the restoration of the Quad precincts lighting, electrical and data. Scope of works developed and estimation of costs submitted to Public Works Advisory for Community Recreation & Cultural Asset works approval.

    Airforce Road Reserve – Park open to the public, Footbridge currently closed.

    Arthur Park – Open to the public, public toilets at this location are now open.

    Coronation Park, The Channon – The Channon Markets have returned to Coronation Park, hopefully the wet weather stays away!

    Heritage Park – Remains open to the public. Electrical contractors are onsite restoring electricity to various points within the park. Please exercise caution and abide by exclusion barriers within the park whilst these works are undertaken.

    Lismore Lake Rowing Club / Boat Ramp – A large amount of mud from continual river rises has been deposited onto the boat ramp at the Lismore Lake, and drainage channel from the lake has deposits of mud and other debris. Remediation of the area is required. The roads within the Lismore Lake precinct also require remediation. Scoping works to secure funding for this is underway.

    Nesbitt Park – Restoration of the public toilets has been complete.

    Riverview Park – The parks iconic entrance signage has been repaired following the February and March 2022 floods. Ongoing restoration works of the grounds, clubhouse and toilets are ongoing.

    Sam Trimble Oval – Public toilets open to the public.

    Spinks Park – Park remains open to the public, however restoration works are progressing at the Old Municipal Building, CWA Tea Rooms, Croquet Club, Stockpot Kitchen (Old Art Gallery) and the Transit Centre. Please abide by exclusion barriers within this area.

    Tucki Tucki Creek Reserve – The footbridge has been repaired and is now re-open to the public.

    Wyrallah Park – Carpark resurfacing complete and playground soft fall to be replaced in September.

    • Australian Defence Force (ADF) assisted Council in completing foreign object and debris removal from all Council’s flood affected parks. However, the public should take caution in all Council’s Park for foreign objects and debris that may be present from the February and March 2022 flooding events.
    • If you encounter any hazardous foreign objects in our parks, please phone Council’s Contact Centre on (02) 6625 0500 to report the location and material so Council Staff can remove.
    • Some Playground and park equipment is currently non-operational. Please abide by exclusion barrier tape and signs and take caution around flood damaged equipment within parks.
    • Whilst some playground equipment might not have been flood impacted, for example swing sets the soft fall material under these may have been impacted and become unsafe.
    • Please also refer to Council’s Sporting Field closures webpage for up-to-date status of the fields from current weather events.

    Captain Rous Park – Open to the public.

    Coronation Park, The Channon – Open to the public, Toilets & BBQs operational.

    Davidson Oval – Open to the public. Amenities block on nearby Mortimer Oval currently unavailable.

    Heaps Oval – Open to the public. Lighting currently non-operational.

    Heritage Park – Open to the public, Model Train Operational. Public toilets at nearby Visitor Information Centre open to the public, however, will be closed intermittently for restoration works. Temporary toilets will be available at these times. Water play area to be open for the spring/summer season.

    Joblin Park – Closed to the public.

    Jolley Field – Open to the public, lighting non-operational.

    Lions Park - Open to the public.

    McKenzie Oval – Open to the public.

    McKenzie Street Park – Park open to the public, Playground equipment currently closed.

    Meadow Drive Park – Closed to the public.

    Memorial Park – Open to the public, nearby Lismore Memorial Baths and Municipal Building currently ongoing restoration works. Please exercise caution.

    Mortimer Oval – Open to the public, lighting currently non-operational. Change Rooms and Toilets currently unavailable. Buildings undergoing restoration works, please exercise caution.

    Neilson Park – Open to the public.

    Nesbitt Park – Oval and walking track open to the public. Take Caution - Erosion is present on walking track and mountain bike track. Radio Controlled Car Clubhouse is closed. Public Toilets currently available, however will be closed intermittently for restoration works. Temporary toilets will be available at these times.

    Oakes and Crozier Field – Fields are open to the public. Please exercise caution as Oakes/Crozier facility upgrades have recommenced. Dawson St / Oakes Oval Public toilets currently closed to the public. Temporary toilets are available.

    Pritchard Park – Playground equipment currently closed.

    Quad Park, Lismore CBD – Open to the public. Lismore Regional Art Gallery and Lismore Library are currently undergoing restoration works. Please abide by exclusion zones and exercise caution.

    Rhodes St Park – Playground Equipment currently closed.

    Richards Oval – Open to the public, Lismore Workers Clubhouse currently closed. Lighting is non-operational.

    Riverside Park -Open to the public, lighting and public toilet non-operational. Dog off-leash area and skatepark open. BBQs are operational.

    Riverview Park – Closed to the public.

    Roder Oval – Open to the public. Amenities block on nearby Mortimer Oval currently unavailable.

    Sam Trimble Oval – Public Toilet, Playground and oval closed to the public

    Spinks Park – Open to the public, exercise caution around associated buildings as restoration works currently underway. Temporary toilets available at the Transit Centre for public use.

    Stocks Park (Lismore City Hall) – Open to the public, Cedar Log and Lismore City Hall Restoration works ongoing. Exercise caution around these.

    Tucki Tucki Creek Reserve – Open to the public, footbridge adjacent to Hepburn Park closed.

    W Tresise Railway Park – Closed to the public, railway corridor fencing not erect.

    Wade Park – Open to the public. BBQs are non-operational. Public Toilets open. Areas of the park are significantly wet, please exercise caution.

    Wilson’s Walking Trail – Open to the public, exercise caution of erosion and wet areas.

    Wyrallah Park – Open to the public, public toilets open. Playground equipment currently closed.
