Code of Meeting Practice 2024 - Public Exhibition

Council has placed proposed amendments to its Code of Meeting Practice on public exhibition for 42 days for community feedback.

The Code of Meeting Practice governs all aspects of how Council meetings are run.

The proposed changes include the following updates to the Code of Meeting Practice:

• 3.10(a) “A councillor may submit no more than three (3) notices of motion to be considered at each Ordinary meeting of the Council."
• 3.14(a) "A councillor may submit no more than three (3) questions with notice for response at each Ordinary meeting of the Council."
