Dilapidation Surveys and Free Community Coffee Cart
Dilapidation Surveys: 13 to 28 January
Pre-construction dilapidation surveys are required to be undertaken. This work will be conducted by East Coast Building Consultants from Monday, 13 January to Tuesday, 28 January.
Please contact them using the details below at your earliest convenience to arrange the best time for an inspection of your residence.
The dilapidation surveys are an important step of the construction process and involve a visual inspection of the internal and external of your building/s by a qualified consultant with photos and notes taken and complied into a report. An identical exercise will also occur post-construction so that in the unlikely event of damage occurring during construction, comparisons can be made, and any issues can be rectified. Copies of the report will be made available to property owners on request.
Residents are encouraged to work with the consultant to improve the level of detail in the report for their property. If internal access is not granted, the resident is not at home on the survey day, or the Consultant hasn’t been contacted, only an external survey will be conducted.

Free Community Coffee Cart: 16 January
Lismore City Council and Eire Constructions are hosting a Community Coffee Cart information session on Thursday, 16 January so local residents can ask questions about the project.
Topics we aim to cover include:
1. Overview of the design – what are we planning to build?
2. Construction methodology – how are we planning to build it? What impacts will this have on me?
3. Construction timeframes – how long will I be affected?
4. Traffic management & disruptions.
5. Key contacts during the works.
Come and enjoy a free morning coffee between 7.30am and 9am and bring along your questions. If you can’t make it, please don’t worry – we will continue to send detailed Community Updates to all residents throughout the project.
This project has now been completed. Thank you for your patience while we completed these works.
