The objective of an Economic Development Strategy 2019-2024 is to identify ways to support sustainable growth of our existing industries and services, and encourage the development of new ones over the coming years.

Council resolved to support the development of a new Economic Development Strategy at its ordinary meeting on 14 May 2019. To obtain input from the community, a survey was conducted and six workshops were held.

The draft Economic Development Strategy is on exhibition for public comment from 16 October to 12 November 2019.

The draft strategy can be viewed online in our Document Library to your right or in hardcopy at our Corporate Centre, 43 Oliver Avenue, Goonellabah.

Submissions can be made online below, emailed to council@lismore.nsw.gov.au or sent to the General Manager, Lismore City Council, PO Box 23A, Lismore, NSW 2480.
