Lismore City Council is pleased to advise that the 7th annual Eat the Street festival will be taking place within the Lismore CBD on Saturday 21 August 2021. We are now inviting Expressions of Interest from stallholders and entertainers who wish to be included in Eat the Street 2021.

We’re seeking a diverse array of entertainers and food stall holders from our creative community.

  • Talent to include Musicians, Buskers, DJs, entertainers, producers and collaborators appealing to a diverse family audience.
  • Stallholders who are offering exciting, creative and thoughtfully-designed dishes, showcasing local products served in biodegradable materials.

Eat the Street entertainer and stallholder positions are limited, and preference will given to applicants that incorporate local talent, flavours and produce.

EOI Process - What do I need to do?

To express an interest in being a stallholder at this event, please complete the Application Form here and email it to gpevents@lismore.nsw.gov.au by close of business on Monday 19 July.

To express an interest in being an entertainer, please complete the simple EOI form here and click 'submit' by close of business on Monday 19 July.

Eat the Street – Lismore Laneways - Further Detail

This year’s festival will be a bespoke event featuring the newly refurbished Lismore Laneways, in careful compliance with COVID-19 guidelines. Accordingly, there will not be a centre stage, AV and other performance requirements will need to be assessed according to COVID-safe site plan and available infrastructure, and roving entertainment is encouraged. Date: Saturday 21 August 2021

Venue: Lismore Laneways, Magellan Street (between Keen and Molesworth Streets) and Carrington Street (between Magellan Street and Larkin Lane)

Time: Two sessions 12pm – 3pm; 4pm- 7pm

EOI Criteria

Applications will be evaluated against the following criteria:

  • Incorporation of local talent, flavours and produce
  • Professionalism of applicant – addressed by marketing, pricing, products, business and/or biodegradability information provided (and details available online through vendor’s web and/or social presence)
  • For food and non-alcoholic stallholders - creativity and flair of menu options, including tasting dishes and signature dish
  • Sustainability of food service and materials
  • Diversity of entertainment and food offerings
