Community Update - Mountain Top Road - 8 July

Council is in the final stages of negotiation with TfNSW for funding of the permanent repairs for the damaged sections of Mountain Top Road, Mountain Top. If funding is confirmed, those works will require further design details and planning before work can start which will not be before September 2021. Recent inspections of this section of road have identified further deterioration in the road surface since last inspection, and there is a need for temporary pothole repairs to ensure the road is safe and remains trafficable in the short term. These temporary repairs will not get to all the potholes on this section, but will at least ensure better access until permanent repairs are confirmed.
