Flood update on 4 March 2022

Some areas within the Lismore Evacuation Zone are still flooded. If you choose to enter these areas, please use extreme caution.

Hundreds of ADF troops and Emergency Services are arriving today to assist with clean up

It is likely that heavy machinery will be used to remove waste and debris. Be prepared to move your vehicles to allow this to happen. If you are not a business owner or resident, you MUST STAY AWAY as you will only be slowing the clean-up efforts.

Tragically, there have been four confirmed deaths. However, several people are still unaccounted for, and search and recovery will be occurring today.

Most importantly, stay safe, be kind to one another and talk to someone if you are struggling.
