Keen Street may look a little different over the coming weeks – but your favourite local businesses are still operating! Drop by to continue supporting them during this time.

Concrete has been poured for the first section of the $1.2 million Keen Street Revitalisation Project and we are looking forward to showing an example of how the finished footpath will look.

Underground infrastructure services continue to be improved including provisions for future use, such as storm water, new water meters, power and communications conduit.

Please remember, intermittent road closures are in place for a section of Keen Street near the Magellan Street roundabout Monday – Friday, between 7am – 4pm for public safety while heavy machinery complete works.

Both sides of Keen Street are still accessible for motorists, with the added provision of a U-turn bay adjacent to the Regional Gallery entrance.
