Over the past week, the project team have been pouring concrete in the top section of the footpath in front of Scoops and Candy, Shoppe One and the Book Warehouse.

A second crew has been secured to progress demolition works in front of Adornments, Camera House as well as the Embassy Arcade.

Operating two crews will allow the project to finish at the nearest date practical and we greatly appreciate the patience and understanding from all businesses affected.

Priorities for the project team over the next week are as follows:

• The concrete crew will be focusing on reopening the Southern portion of the street, we will be pouring the lower section of the footpath beginning at Suffolk Sports
• The demolition/underground service crew will be progressing works from the Blooms Chemist to Larkin Lane.

Currently the project team are available onsite Mondays 3pm and Wednesdays 11am for discussions around construction staging and business interactions.
