The Project Team are continuing to work on the first section of Keen Street, leading from the corner of Magellan.
The footpath pavement is significantly thicker than expected, with additional works put into place for removal. Some businesses this week have been affected by noisy works. We would like to apologise for the inconvenience, and moving forward are scheduling noisy works (where possible) to be completed between 7-9am to minimise disruptions. Please don’t hesitate to speak with our team if you would like to provide feedback
Continuing through the week ahead:
- Hours of work 7am – 3pm, Mon – Fri (these may change slightly depending on schedule of work)
- Removal of garden beds and street furniture at blister (Near Thai Satay Hut)
- Continued removal of existing channel drain
- Removal of footpath (cut last week)
- Corner Magellan/Keen - Excavation of new pit
- Excavation and install of storm water pipe beginning at roundabout to footpath.
As always, we appreciate your feedback. Please utilise the Q&A function of this article, so we may share the response with the wider community.
This project has been completed. Minor additions will be completed, before ongoing maintenance.
