Project Update - Monday 13 February 2023

Keen Street Revitilisation works update:

We have only minor works planned for the next week and will conduct these outside of business hours to minimise any disturbance where possible.

Below are indicative timelines for remaining activities.

Works next week:

• There will be minor concreting works in Larkin Lane to take place over the weekend to enable future Asphalt paving.
  • These works have been rescheduled to Thursday this week to take advantage of contractor availability. (1/2 day closure, with Traffic Control – if any deliveries are scheduled please let us know we can assist with delivery planning)
• Replacement of barriers with temporary street furniture
• Landscape Rock placement
  • These works have been rescheduled to Thursday this week to take advantage of contractor availability. (1/4 day intermittent road delays during placement on Keen Street)
• Surface finish final clean and seal
  • Noise work to be conducted late afternoons/weekends
  • Ongoing joint sealing (partial footpath closures)

Within the month:

• Asphalt works in Larkin Lane and Keen/Woodlark Street Roundabout (Milling Sunday 26^th February, Placement Monday 27^thFebruary (Road Closed during placement – traffic Control on Keen/Woodlark Roundabout)
  • Linemarking (TBC)
  • Signage finalisation (ongoing)

March-April:

• Bespoke Street Furniture will start to arrive.
• Planting of Seats, planter boxes
• Keen Magellan Corner rectification works.

May-June

• Electrical and communication cabling
• Finalisation of street furniture and planting
