Over the past week, the project team have been undertaking the civil works to improve foundation conditions as well as installing new and updated services.

These services include electrical and communications networks for future uses as well as upgraded storm water and water main services.

Priorities for the project team over the next two weeks are as follows:

• The project team are working this Sunday 04/09 for concrete cutting activities as an effort to minimise business disruption.
  • This will occur from Book Warehouse to Woodlark St. Public access will be restricted in this area on this day, however business owner, landlord and residential access will still be possible.
• Early next week the project team will be completing earthworks activities between Suffolk Sports and Cut Lose Hair Salon.
• The concreters will then be returning to site to pour the concrete footpath along the shopfront section between Suffolk Sports and Cut Loose Hair Salon.

            Access will not be possible for 4 days commencing Monday 05/09 for the businesses in this section. Contact will be made for any updates around restoring public access.

• The following week (commencing 12/09) new concrete footpath will be poured from Scoops and Candy to the Book Warehouse.
• The project team will be progressing into the 2nd half of the street with demolition activities beginning at the Northern end of the Book Warehouse on the 12th September. (please see dates below)
