Lismore City Council as roads authority proposes to name the following roads:


Proposed Name: Banyum Place

LGA: Lismore

Suburb/Address: GOONELLABAH

Description: The proposed road (Banyum Place) is a public road within the proposed subdivision of Lot 1 DP1270978 known as 97 Pineapple Road, Goonellabah. The public road extends northerly off proposed Jackeroo Road that extends off Pineapple Road.

Name Origin: Indigenous for “North Lismore”.


Proposed Name: Jackaroo Drive

LGA: Lismore

Suburb/Address: GOONELLABAH

Description: The proposed road (Jackeroo Drive) is a public road within the proposed subdivision of Lot 1 DP1270978 known as 97 Pineapple Road, Goonellabah. The public road extends westward off Pineapple Road, loops around northwest to northeast, and ends in a cul-de-sac facing southeast.

Name Origin: A nod to Australian culture and heritage.


Proposed Name: Muster Close

LGA: Lismore

Suburb/Address: GOONELLABAH

Description: The proposed road (Muster Close) is a public road within the proposed subdivision of Lot 5 in DP 253464, known as 87 Pineapple Road, Goonellabah. The public road is a cul-de-sac that extends of proposed Outback Drive which extends off Pineapple Road.
