Expressions of Interest for the Re-imagine Lismore Advisory Panel
Background
Re-imagine Lismore is the program of work to develop a long-term community Vision and Future Plan to create a prosperous Lismore.
The purpose of the Re-imagine Lismore Advisory Panel (the Panel) is to provide advice to Lismore City Council that is expert, strategic, impartial, and based on skills and experience to support the development of a the community vision and future plan.
If you have technical expertise and experience in one or more of economic, social, and environmental technical areas; city recovery and growth; and links to Lismore community, we would love to hear from you.
There are up to 9 positions on the Advisory Panel
Plus an Independent Chair
The Panel meets monthly with meetings held online and in person. Note; some onsite meetings are anticipated.
The role of a Panel member and Chair is unpaid, but with expenses paid.
Skills and expertise
To be selected as an Advisory Panel member you will need to:
Have technical skills and expertise in one or more of the following:
economic development
land use planning
social services and planning
environment sustainability and climate
infrastructure planning and development
financial and commercial analysis
water management
flood management
Have links to the Lismore community.
Be able to attend and participate in Panel meetings.
Agree to Councils Code of Conduct and Panel term.
To be selected as the Independent Chair you will need to:
Have skills and expertise in leading and managing panels considering complex programs, including integrating economic, social, and environmental considerations that drive a city vision.
Have links to the Lismore community.
Be able to attend and participate in Panel meetings.
Agree to Councils Code of Conduct and Panel term.
