Australian processors require a much cleaner standard of recycling to manufacture materials into new products. Council's #RecycleRight campaign can help you make simple changes to your recycling routines.

The SNAP and CHECK service is here to help. Simply upload a photo of the item you are about to put in your yellow bin and a Council officer will let you know if it's okay (see example below). Over time you will better understand exactly what needs to go into your recycling bin and you can spread the message to others.

It is now more important than ever to recycle right but remember the first two things you should always think about is: 'Can I reduce what I buy?' and 'Can I reuse what I buy?'
