Consultation has concluded

Council has placed the Draft Unreasonable Conduct Model Policy and Procedure on public exhibition for 28 days.

The Unreasonable Conduct Policy sets out a consistent, fair and endorsed approach to be taken by Council staff when they are the recipients of unreasonable conduct by members of the public.

The policy and procedure will be used in a small number of situations where action needs to be taken to modify the behaviour of individuals who pose a threat to Council staff, to themselves or other members of the public. It will also be used when there is a threat to the fair and effective management of resources across Council.

The policy can be viewed online in our Document Library to the right hand side of the screen or in hard copy at our Corporate Centre, 43 Oliver Avenue, Goonellabah.

Submissions can be made online via the submission form below, or sent to the General Manager, Lismore City Council, PO Box 23A, Lismore, NSW 2480.

Submissions must be received by 13 July 2021.
