Diadem Street Roadworks

Roadworks will be taking place in Diadem Street between Leycester Street and Laurel Avenue from early February 2020.

Eire Constructions Pty Ltd is the contractor undertaking works on behalf of Lismore City Council. This work is likely to take around six weeks and includes the following:

• Replacing the ageing water main.
• Reconstruction of the road, including widening 2.5m on both sides.
• Drain maintenance and improvement of stormwater drainage.
• Footpath reconstruction on the western side from Orion Street to Leycester Street.

There will be traffic disruptions and parking will be restricted however access arrangements will be in place for residents and businesses. There will be periods of dust, noise and water supply disruptions.

Hours of work:

• 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
• 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.
• No work will take place on Sundays and public holidays.

People affected by the work will be kept up to date with detailed Community Updates posted to residents and updated below. A plan of the works can be viewed in the Document Library to your right.
