Road Restoration Works - The Channon

Due to significant flood damage, Lismore City Council will be continuing works to repair roads. The following are proposed to take place throughout May and June 2022.

Terania Creek Road Landslip north of Lawler Road	Geotechnical investigations using drilling rig, to understand subsurface conditions.	Full Closure- 8am to 4pm. Fire, Ambulance and Police emergency services vehicles will be accommodated.	5 days	25th May to 30^th May
Wallace Road Landslip 1.3km from Tuntable Creek Road	Geotechnical investigations using drilling rig to understand subsurface conditions	Full Closure- 8am to 4pm. Fire, Ambulance and Police emergency services vehicles will be accommodated.	3 days	30th May to 3rd June
Black Road Causeway washed out	Core drilling rock to determine strength for future rock anchors	Road currently closed.	1 day	Depending on productivity of the full road closures
Terania Creek Road Landslip between Izzard and Town Road	Geotechnical investigations using drilling rig to understand subsurface conditions	One lane traffic control during daylight hours.	3 days	Depending on productivity of the full road closures
The Channon Road Landslip behind guardrail	Geotechnical investigations using drilling rig to understand subsurface conditions	One lane traffic control during daylight hours.	2 days	Depending on productivity of the full road closures
